Katy Perry has seriously reined in her fashion choices. Gone are the blue wigs, whipped cream bras and light-up dresses. Once she broke up with Russell Brand and started seeing John Mayer, Katy started in on jeans, boots and sweaters (yes, regular sweaters); now that she's done with John, her style has become even more refined.
Hence the ripped-from-the-runway Prada dress she donned at a swank "The Great Gatsby" event on Tuesday night. Feteing the film costumes designed by Miuccia Prada and costume designer Catherine Martin at the Prada store in New York City, the party called for some serious Prada duds.
So Katy bravely delved into the audacious Spring 2013 collection, picking a two-toned floral dress with a ladylike white placket. Thankfully she decided to omit the coordinating red "socks" that were paired with the dress on the runway (although pre-John Mayer Katy Perry would have definitely had those babies on).
